Rachael is a first-time North Carolina resident. Prior to coming to Charlotte, Rachael resided in Cortland, New York where she served as a Residence Hall Director and the Interim Assistant Director for the Multicultural Life and Diversity Office at SUNY Cortland. Rachael received her Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and her Master's of Science in Education in English as a Second Language from SUNY Cortland, where she also studied Spanish. Rachael is passionate about anti-bias education, social justice, student development, and creating expansive environments.
Rachael joined the MRC team in October of 2015 and was promoted to Assoicate Director in 2019. She is excited to continue her career in student affairs as a 49er at UNC Charlotte.
Rachael enjoys playing softball, meeting new people, belly laughing, speaking Spanish, and traveling.
