Latinx Graduation Celebration 


The Office of Identity, Equity, and Engagement is excited to host this year's virtual Latinx Graduation Celebration on Saturday, May 8th at 2 pm. 

This event honors all 2021 Latinx and/or Hispanic graduating UNC Charlotte students (undergraduate and graduate). Please register by Sunday, May 2.

Featured Keynote: Robert Valderrama

Robert Valderrama currently serves as the Senior Coordinator for the Student Leadership Department at Lambda School. In this role, Robert oversees a collective group of student leaders across the Full Stack Web, Computer Science and Data Science programs, runs the academic tutoring and support programs, and manages professional development training and other educational opportunities through large-scale programming for students in an online global community. Outside of work, Robert is actively involved as a founding Board Member for the Latino Leadership Foundation, as well as the Latinx/a/o Alumni Affinity Network at UNC Charlotte. Robert holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte ('14), and a masters’ degree in Counseling and Student Affairs from Clemson University ('16).
