Kim calls the Washington Metropolitan (DMV) area home, more specifically Sterling, VA. She has been in doing equity work in higher education for over 15 years and enjoys working with students.
Carlos received his Masters in Higher Education Administration and Bachelors in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He's originally from Puerto Rico but came to Charlotte via Springfield, MA.
Rachael is a first-time North Carolina resident. Prior to coming to Charlotte, Rachael resided in Cortland, New York where she served as a Residence Hall Director and the Interim Assistant Director for the Multicultural Life and Diversity Office at SUNY Cortland.
Tyris serves as the Assistant Director for Identity, Equity, and Engagement, leading the Student Advising for the Freshmen Excellence (SAFE) Program. Originally from Soperton, Georgia, Tyris received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Mass Media with an emphasis in Video Production from Valdosta State University.
Although Toledo, Ohio is home, Chelsea has spent the majority of her adult life in Michigan at Grand Valley State University where she earned her M.Ed in Higher Education with an emphasis in College Student Affairs Leadership and her B.S in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. During her time at GVSU, she held various roles including interning for the Gayle R.
